Privacy Policy
Local data
Miumi stores task titles, categories, dates, reminders, repeat rules, completion status and timestamps on your device. Preferences and task statistics are also stored or calculated locally. The app and widgets share necessary data through Apple’s App Group. Local tasks require no Miumi account. The app has no advertising, tracking SDKs or developer-operated task server.
Optional Apple connections
When enabled, iCloud sync uses Apple CloudKit and your Apple account’s private database for task records and information needed for edits, deletions and conflict handling. Apple’s terms and privacy policy also apply. Switching Apple accounts may pause sync. With your permission, Apple Reminders can be read, displayed, edited and synced; edits, completion and deletion can affect the original list. Existing notes are not overwritten. System calendars are read only. Revoke permissions in system settings. Disconnecting stops subsequent syncing but does not delete existing local or cloud data.
Notifications, backups and deletion
Notifications are scheduled locally. Task information can appear in notifications, widgets and Live Activities on your lock screen; control permissions and previews in system settings. JSON exports contain task data: choose trusted storage and recipients. Deleted local tasks and deletion markers are retained for recovery and sync, so ordinary deletion does not permanently erase all copies. Uninstalling may remove local data but does not erase exported files, Apple Reminders or iCloud data.
Website and support
This website has no advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts and requires no account. It saves your selected language in browser storage. Hosting provider Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request times and browser information to deliver and protect the site. If you email support, your email address, message and attachments are used to reply and investigate the issue. Avoid unrelated personal information or complete task backups. Contact support for privacy questions. We update this page and its date when our practices change.
